For AAT's if you long-click on the AAT area, the Target dialog opens and the Target can be locked and dragged. That's the good news.
The bad news is: 1) nobody knows that you can shortcut to the "draggable" AAT Target state by long-clicking the AAT area 2) once the Target dialog appears, nobody knows that if you click "Lock" you can then drag the Target. The whole "Lock/Unlock" should probably be replaced with a single "Optimize" button. And, if you drag the item, it should go not require that you "unlock it". For non-touch screens, we'll still need the "Optimize / Lock" toggle. It's a classic interface that is not very usable. To correct it by building on what is already "standard xcsoar interface." Possible improvements: * long-clicking on the painted areas in the map (Airspace and AAT areas) is already "standard xcsoar interface." How do we make this easier to know? * we can remove the need to "lock" the AAT target if the user actually drags the target (we can lock it automatically) * create a flag in Configuration for "touchscreen" interface. This would hide certain the non-touchscreen requirements (e.g. the Lock button and the Radial and Range buttons in the AAT Target interface) Any thoughts on this?
