Do as Max suggested to transfer data from PC to Android.
Once you have familiarized yourself with your Android and you want to become
independent of your PC, download an Android File Explorer from the Market (e.g.
ES File Explorer) - this you use similar to the Windows Explorer for more
sophisticated file copy / paste / edit etc. operations.

Plug into a PC, export as USB drive, and do all the work on your PC.
That's the easiest way to do it. File management on Android sucks
(just my opinion).
