Do you have a Flarm and nothing else connected to the IOIO and 
XCSoar?  (e.g. you don't have a smart vario also connected?)  If this 
is the case, then it sounds like an issue with your IOIO connection.

Probably you need to adjust the pot voltage knob on the IOIO board to 
the maximum voltage. Different IOIO boards seem to use different 
pots, some have no "stop" in them and you don't know where the 
maximum position is. I would recommend opening your IOIO box, 
connecting a volt meter to your USB output terminals that powers your 
device (while your device is connected), and figure out where the pot 
voltage is the maximum and mark it with a pen and leave it there.

I recently had the same problem when I upgrade from a DroidX to the 
Streak5 which seems to require a higher voltage to maintain the 
connection with the IOIO.

Also, please upgrade to 6.3beta per the instructions in this thread.
