For those who noticed and wonder: from this version on, XCSoar wants to have a permission called "Read personal log files". No, XCSoar is not interested in your personal data, it's just used to extract crash dumps, so you can write better bug reports, and we can fix crash bugs more quickly. This is the relevant source code: http://git.xcsoar.org/cgit/master/xcsoar.git/tree/src/Android/LogCat.cpp If you run CyanogenMod, you can revoke this permission, but then XCSoar won't be able to extract crash logs. With stock Android firmware, you don't have this choice, sorry. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
