XCSoar 6.4 will let you configure the map item list. In the current state you can choose whether the distance/bearing/elevation item and the arrival altitude item should be added to the list or not. If not, the list dialog will only come up if there are at least two items below your finger. Basically this will come closer to the way XCSoar 6.2 used to work. This is not yet included in any public version but the 6.4preview7 release will have it. To edit the settings click anywhere on the map and on the "Settings" button in the map item list dialog.
