Hi Turbo,
I flew with 6.3.5 today and noticed an issue as a result of increasing the
double tap time: I kept getting the menu whenever I tried to rapidly zoom in or
out. I had to remind myself to wait between gestures long enough to avoid the
menu, but this pretty much eliminates rapid zoom in (to thermal or waypoint)
and zoom out. This was working fine prior to this change. Since this is the
most common interaction for many users I hope this can be addressed. I
understand the need for increasing the tap interval for non tablet devices, but
for Android devices it is not needed. I can think of 2 solutions:
1 - Make the interval configurable (long/short or specify a number of
milliseconds).
2 - Provide another solution to rapidly zoom in/out, or the sticky zoom
suggested in #1603.
