There is a VERY good implementation of the FAI triangle assist coded here
as a web service

Note that in the top right it is called a Yassen Triangle rather than FAI
triangle. This is due to the fury of some members of the PG community
with CIVL / FAI after the debacle last year around our competition scene :)
The code is freely available under GPL3+ so might be a suitable starting
point for an XCSoar implementation
