Hi Brendan, the problem is not the calculation of the FAI triangle or areas, the problem is the detection of when the pilot has turned and is heading to the next turnpoint. The link you posted is using an "offline" algorithm with fixed turnpoints, but we need to use an online algorithm that runs while you are actually flying and has to determine the turnpoints instead of using some defined points.
