Hi all, I'm using a Dell Streak with a Cambridge CAI302 and a FLARM connected through a IOIO. It works really well as long as I configure only 1 of the 2 devices. With 1 device I've been using it for well over 50 hours in flight without any issues.
But as soon as I configure both devices (FLARM and CAI302) it's less than 20 minutes and it freezes with the message "GPS not connected". The only thing that helps in that case is to power-cycle the IOIO. I've tried several XCSoar versions (6.3.* and 6.4) with different IOIO F/W (3.11, 3.23, 3.24) with different IOIO bootloaders (3.01, 3.03, 3.04). I used a real IOIO and a IOIO clone. Nothing seem to make a difference: it works well with 1 device and freezes when I configure 2 devices. I've also observed that downloading flight logs from the CAI302 almost always fails. Most of the time it fails even getting the flight list. Downloading the flight from the FLARM works most of the time. And if it fails, I try it again and succeed. Another interesting symptom: I start with 1 device (say the CAI302). After 30 minutes I configure the FLARM in addition to the CAI302. After another couple of minutes I change the configuration back to 1 device only. Initially it still works for a while. But than freezes with the message "GPS not connected" after ~20 minutes. I'm running Android 2.2.2 on the Streak. I'm open to try a different version, but have no idea what's worth trying. Has anybody an idea how to solve this issue?
