It's frustrating. For me the solution was to upgrade to "Olleh" version of
the operating system. Unfortunately upgrade was not very easy (at least in
my opinion). For me the "unofficial" Android versions did not work, the
phone started to continuously restart itself while flying. (Somebody should
explain me, why it did not do that while on ground!)
I have now two Streaks with 2.3 "Olleh" and they work 100% with IOIO and
Soartronic UART extension board.
Another interesting thing is, that the IOIO manager app does not work with
the DELL Streak running 2.2.2 Android. I have not tested with this 2.3
"Olleh", but I think I should.
I also have LG P070 phone, and I never had any problems with that. So I
would say that it's the DELL's Android 2.2.2 version, not the IOIO or
XCSoar.
