Thanks for that addition. I believe there's also something in setup to
select how lift and sink are displayed on your trail.
Another way that I use the full trail is to close triangles for OLC flights.

Set "Full Trails" in your setup and you will be able to see where
the lift is best. I use this to navigate back to small waves in
New Mexico, USA, and it works very well. I would think it would
be better than markers because you can see your entire path as you
turn back for another path in the wave, you can see where the best
lift is, and you can explore without fear of losing the lift.
