Hi,

I am pretty impressed with the Nook's performance running XCSoar. Having
received sample e-ink displays for some other project, I made some tests
myself, where the display for sure provided excellent readability in all
conditions except night, and the resolution and detail was very good. Adding
the very low power consumption I was sure I found the ideal dsplay for our
purpose ... if, well if it only was a bit more responsive.
What I see in the video now appears a very good job in improving response, and
in dealing with the ghosting. I find it is absolutely acceptable, and I only
fly in north up anyway. Now, due to the low depth of grey levels available (was
it 3 bit?) and no chance to see a color Nook soon, it would take a greyscale
XCSoar variant, would it?

Very intersting.

Viele Grüße
Martin Kopplow
