I have respect for those guys too, and I use jboss every chance I get. 
This does appear to be a bona-fide bug, though. However, since it 
appears to be already fixed in the CVS head, I don't see the point in 
reporting. Also I can't point to any specific resource which said local 
interfaces were supported in 2.4, but I thought they were. Perhaps that 
was my mistake to assume so. Either way I guess I'll start working off 
the CVS head of jboss.
