Hi, There is also a need to support modules that are developped out of xdoclet. Castor or MVCSoft or JBoss SAR or... There is no reasons why a developper could not take these modules on its own, develop them out of here and we simly point in the website where these modules could be downloaded (jar with sources eventually). This would require some conventions or contracts between a XDoclet Core version and a module version but not very difficilt to set up. That would push indivuality, which will one specific module "better" because in hand of specialized people. As an example Castor mapping is lost in Xdoclet, nobody maintain it anymore, open bugs are there for a long time, etc... If Exolab maintain it itself from there it will be better. Same for MVCSoft : Dan should be the only one to maintain it, if a good developper wants to help him he goes and "ping" Dan, not us because we simply don't know MVCSoft. That will make modules better and stronger That will "infiltrate" Xdoclet in the other projects instead of waiting them to come here and give a patch. VISIBILITY :)
