Hi,

a couple of questions ...
a). Is there likely to be a new 1.2 release sometime, or is emphasis on
XDoclet 2 now and 1.2 is frozen ?

b). I need an update to the Maven plugin - just want to be able to configure
the "source directory" rather than it taking the maven source directory
(which is a great default on 99% of cases, just that I have a case where I
want to point it somewhere else). How do I get this update added ?

I saw another item on this mailing list suggesting that the Maven plugin be
removed. I would object to this since the Maven plugin provides defaults for
the majority of things and so I can simple call "maven xdoclet". I do not
want to write an Ant task thanks very much. Taking the arguments posted in
the previous thread you would argue against having ANY plugins for Maven ...
the fact is that plugins provide a large set of defaults removing the need to
write Ant tasks.

The issue really is do the XDoclet team want responsibility/control over the
maven-xdoclet-plugin ? If the answer is no, then why not transfer it across
to Maven itself and we will push it onwards from there. Thoughts ?

Thx
