Yes you got tunnel vision. Back in 2001 XDoclet was
used to generate ejb stuff. But over the time other
usage scenarios arised - and a lot of xdoclet
developers ceased to use EJB at all ( because there
are alternatives )
If you look into distrobution jar, you will see a lot
of xdoclet modules - ejb is only fraction of them.
I had forgotten that I use Xdoclet to generate Hibernate
mapping files also. So, I'm sure that plugin gets a lot
of use too.
But, it would be interesting to find the percentage
of Xdoclet users who use the EJB module only. I
suspect that it would be a lot higher than the Xdoclet
developers think it is.
