Sorry, I'm loosing track of the different setups people have. What do you have for a disk controller and driver again? cmdk (IDE stack) performs very poorly.. The Solaris driver does ins & outs to access the device registers. Each one of these is trapped by the hypervisor. If your using native sata or scsi, i believe we should actually be faster.
