IBM employees have provided the bulk of the development effort of Xerces-C/J, and of Xalan-C/J as well AFAIK. Obiovusly they ain't making big bucks off of it, so they are doing a large service to the XML community. Of course, it does serve their purposes, since it gives them an important seat at the XML table; but, nonetheless, I believe that IBM should be given credit where credit is due. More and more 'outsiders', so to speak, have contributed to the product over time, and their contributions should not be minimized. But IBM has shouldered the bulk of the development costs of the Xerces products. -------------------------- Dean Roddey The Charmed Quark Controller Charmed Quark Software [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.charmedquark.com "If it don't have a control port, don't buy it!" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
