That's what I thought at first, but I tried placing the schemas in the local directory, that didn't change anything. I am using version 1.6, but will soon upgrade to 1.7.0. It uses version 7.9.2 of curl, but it will soon be upgraded to 7.9.6.

The parser has to go load these documents, so it has to use the access method indicated. If it cannot support that access method, then there's not much it can do.
