If you are having trouble even accessing them locally, I'd say figure that out first. I can't believe that Xerces would have such an obvious error, though its always possible. But I'd work that out first, and once you confirm that they are at least loadable locally, then move forward.
Whether your version of the parser has a netaccessor, and which one, depends on how it was built.
