Hi Carolina, This was done intentionally. On no other platform were both debug and release binaries both issued, so it wasn't clear why this was being done on Windows. No functionality is lost.

Hi there, We recently installed Xerces C++ release 2.6.0 for Windows (xerces-c_2_6_0-windows_nt-msvc_60). During the windows build, we noticed that the xerces-c_2D.lib library is not available under the lib directory. Does anyone know if this is a problem with the release package or was it removed from 2.6.0 release intentionally? Any information will be greatly appreciated.
