Are you sure that's what's being expressed?  Because that's not how I read 
it.  I read it as "the distribution used to provide a debug version of the 
parser, which we need for our debug builds, but it's no longer there."

I think you are grossly over-estimating the confusion regarding two 
distinct binaries in the Windows distribution.  I really believe this is 
going to create far more confusion and trouble than it saves, because 
Windows is the only platform for which you need a debug Xerces-C 
executable to build debug versions of your applications.  That makes it a 
very different beast than the Unices, and makes the Windows binary 
distribution fairly useless, as far as I'm concerned.  I know this will 
affect the Xalan-C distributions, because it will force us to create our 
own Xerces-C binaries so we can still distribute our debug binaries, which 
we must do.

Please consider putting it back in.
