OK; IF we're considering XNI stable, that's news to me. This would be a 
different kettle of worms and changes would want to be managed somewhat 
differently.

(I'm honestly not sure XNI has gotten enough real-world use that I'd want 
to start locking it down, but my opinion doesn't signify.)
