Indeed this is a Render/Xinerama bug.  Until someone gets a 
chance to fix it properly however, you can workaround the issue 
by disabling render accel in the Matrox driver.  To do so, you 
need to add a line to the very top of the source code file 
mga_storm.c as:

#undef RENDER

Recompile the Matrox driver, and you're all set.  It should work.
