Hi, Additional as mentoined already, pls disable the modelines of 230MHz by # and try to fire on the the LCD with modelines I've send, you maybe have to play arround with DotClock, because IBM Panel and Sharp Panel could be different there. If you've connect an analog screen pls remove it after you've done modification. And reboot the system, only with connected DVI Screen. A lot od Adapter use the analog Out as primary and disable X on secondary automatically. Hopefully I will find some spare time during next days to setup 20,1" with Radeon 8500, then we can see more details out of that.
Don't gave up, for me it tooks several month to get this stuff running with DVI and Xfree. Sure I'm not expert, but have a lot of experience. Pls be so kind and provide some webpage were I can find your Panel specification. Feel free to post directly to my company mailadress.Even if we are competitor on the LCD market, we should try to find a solution for you and all other Linux user.That's the goal.
