[XFree86] Compatibility with radeon 9000

You excuse the bad translation from Italian to English.   This my system:  P3 700 mhz, 224mb ram, Ati Radeon 9000 64 mb ddr, Mandrake 8.0(kernel 2.4.20).        When I install Mandrake 8.0(with xfree 3.3.6 of default), the Radeon works quietly with KDE , unfortunately however without acceleration 3d.  :-(( In the attempt to shape Open GL correctly I have unloaded xfree 4.2.0 and the drivers fglrx-glc22-4.2.0-2.5.1.i586.rpm from the situated Ati.  Unfortunately however once adjourned Xfree it hauls version 4.2.0 and installed the drivers, don't succeed to starting X anymore!!  Have tried varied configurations and varied changes to XF86Config-4, besides to install XFree and the drivers ATI, but the result doesn't change, the server X doesn't depart anymore!!  Can you be that you am a bug of XFree 4.2.0?  I bring a part of the file XFree86.0.log:      XFree86 Version 4.2.0 / X Window System (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600) ......<cut>...............
