Hi, The problem is precisely defined now: IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH APM NOR SUSPEND. I turned suspend off in the BIOS, now re-opening the LCD brings the display back (but no sleep mode of course :( ). BUT FN+F3 alone kills the display, it goes completely black, then, after pressing a key the backlit lamp starts, but the display doesnt come back. THE LAPTOP IS ALIVE, I type in blindly "reboot" and it works, shutting down all services and rebooting. I checked the same fn+F3 procedure with suspend on in the bios -> the same, no difference, the laptop is alive, but no display.
