Hmm...  Then it'll make a lot of sense to send the complete
XFree86.0.log, otherwise it'll be blind guessing.

You've changed the allowed range, the actual values are chosen by the
server.  I'd try figuring out what the server decided to use from
XFree86.0.log.  Besides with monitor's own controls you can find out
what the actual frequencies are.

Still for XF86Config better look these ranges up in the monitor manual
or on the manufacturer's site.
