This is fine when you have an external monitor with a lower possible resolution than the panel, but what do you do when you have a panel at 1024x768 and then an external display that you want to drive at 1280x1024? I used to be able to specify
Option "Display" "BIOS" but that no longer works. It defaults to the TFT no matter what I do.
