Thanks for the reminder about what Edinilsons original problem was - I am in
Hawaii and so don't have the old emails to reference for the thread!

However, I don't remember seeing any more than 1 reference to a non-windows
system having anything similar to this problem (a Linux system) and that
mail had only a very small amount of info (just a connection timeout to MSD
as I recall) - why do you think Windows is no longer a possibly related
element to the problem?

Maybe I'm wrong here, but overwhelmingly the people that seem to be having
this problem have Windows, often they seem to be running Exchange, and often
they seem to be from Brazil (just an observation - I love Brazil!). Don't
you think looking for the common thread might be helpful in resolving ehats
going on?

I also think that a lot of the mails abou this may not even be realted - a
timeout error is common and vrey general - Ednilsons problem is the only one
that has been analyzed (as I recall) to this degree - just having a problem
sending to MSN or Hotmail doesn't necessarily make it the same problem, or
am i wrong here?

Jeff
