t said->I know some will argue that I'm risking KEEPING you out of
t said->date on this one, and I know you're using BSD, but I am
t said->VERY pleased with the performance of Voodoo cards in
t said->Linux. I openly admit they're not the best cards on earth,
t said->but when it comes to a decent looking game at a playable
t said->framerate, and at this point very inexpensive, I'll
t said->recommend any Voodoo. I have a voodoo1, a few voodoo2s,
t said->and a voodoo5, all of which were a breeze to get working,
t said->and still provide acceptable gameplay on all my machines.

Yes, then I belive that the voodoo card can offer us yet al lot of
surprises, expecially for xmame emulation; if it did use of glide3 the
games could play in the window for example and work through the opengl
rendering (Mesa uses glide3 so as XFree86 DRI needs of glide3...) until to
2046x1536 screen resolution (Voodoo3 card). I haven't got experience in
glide programming but I know a litte of the C language and I thought to
this idea some time ago so if I can be useful in something I'll work with
pleasure. But I need more information about the hooks of glide rendering
to xmame.... at the moment I have only watched the xfx source code and
read its comments but I don't know yet where moving...sorry for my bad
english! Bye.

Turk.
