Well, if you did enter your IP or domainname in entropy.conf in the nodename= line and also copied seed.txt-dist to seed.txt and removed the hashes (#) from some lines there, you should be able to access http://127.0.0.1:9999/ in your browser and e.g. get http://127.0.0.1:9999/gpl.txt for a test. > Im not sure its doing anything, i probably have to modify > my firewall, but i dont see anything in the message log that says my > firewall is blocking packets. You would have to open up the port 37373 (default) for incoming connections in your firewall. The port is specified in entropy.conf and you can use any number between 1024 and 65535. > So how do I search for files? On the gateway page there are some links to the MAME ROM archives. But first take a look at http://127.0.0.1:9999/node/peers.html to see if your node got in contact with some other nodes. ciao, Juergen _______________________________________________ Xmame mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://toybox.twisted.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/xmame
