Dear Group,

Yes, Vans are dead but it does not mean that they can not maximize their
revenue (aka screw clients) until the clients learn how they are being
screwed.

Shortly, the idea of paying someone to translate the data formats will
be a quaint as using a horse and carriage.  Using Java / Jini / E-speak 
and others data interoperability will as easy and transparent as a phone
call.

Your personal / corporate software robot (bot) will facilitate all your
normal transactions in a timely and efficient manor.  So, you can get on
with more important stuff such as grwoing your business.
