BINGO!
Again.
Do people think the tags are there for them?
Silly people.

Hmmmm. sounds good - but how many of you have come in at
3am to a core dump and a 40,000 line file from a trading partner
that just crashed the mapper?
I guess the machine magically tells you what part of the data
is the offending chunk?
At some point you are going to have to eye-ball into the cruft.
And I'd much rather that cruft be something that you can make
at least an intelligent pass thru.
Instead - with all the schema mechanisms - this is resembling
more of a C++ header file mystery trail, that you wander thru
for hours trying to figure out just where (and now you can use
URLs - yippee!) the offending definition is that brought the pack
of cards crashing down.
Give me simple everytime. The alternative to looking at the
tags seems to be some giant UML definition of your entire
interchange system that autogenerates the tagged content
underneath it.
Good luck to all who sail on her. I'll watch from the beach.
DW.
