(Really) sensible defaults seem likely to obviate even that work, don't you

think.  An automaton, upon seeing new tags, fields, data, even document
types 
and transaction sets, would't be ready for beta w/o also testing those 
defaults.  Press of business aside.

Is this some sort of Guiness Book entry for the longest p.s. ever!?!

Anyway - if I can paraphrase - I believe we are on the same page -
if we can empower the spreadsheet writers of this world, then they 
can deliver business functional interoperability on a giant scale.

In fact there's a thought - ebXML should actually be ebXcel....!?!
