I'm not attributing that decision to you, but presumably you recognize
someone sees a benefit from using XML for trading relationships, or why plan
to migrate 200 trading partners to an XML-based model?

Perhaps there's another way to look at this -- has anyone said "In the next
two years at Cisco, we plan to grow our X12 applications by an additional
200 trading partners." That would certainly be counter to the trends being
reported by organizations such as Forrester Research.
