20,000 lines means nothing at all. A single line may contain 1,000,000
characters.

We sell a product and that means that we and our customers believe that
it is useful.

Waiting 3 hours to load 20,000 lines  of XML means that we did something
completely unusable and that we'd better sell pizzas instead of
developing XML Editors.

Please send me (mailto:hussein at pixware.fr) your document, the one that
takes 3 hours to load, so I can tell you what happens.
