XXE Standard Edition is a generic XML editor, not a DocBook editor. Many
people use it for their own custom DTDs.

XXE Standard Edition has been artificially restricted in its support of
XML Schema. You can use it to edit any XML Schema (which, after all, is
itself a XML document constrained by the schema of schema) or XXE
configuration files (which are constrained by a schema, not by a DTD).

PS: Here at XMLmind, we no longer write DTDs for our own internal use,
we now write schema.
