Making styled view collapsible too is a planned feature. Which elements
are collapsible (typically chapter/sections) and what is displayed when
the element is collapsed being specified in the stylesheet.

Using the Options menu (items "Show Attribute List in Tree View", etc),
you can hide some of its details. But I'm sure you already know this.

I'll try to fix this annoying problem but there is no way to change the
cursor from caret to arrow. XXE is built using a very simple toolkit
which does not/cannot implement this feature.
