In general, we recommend using the latest Java runtime. Therefore your Java runtime "1.6.0_04" is fine. Notice that, beside the .zip you have downloaded, we have a xxe-perso-3_7_1-setup.exe which is bundled with its own, *private*, Java runtime "1.6.0_04".
