Hussein Shafie, This really didn't help me because I had JRT 1.6.0_04 installed. I did find a solution however. I found that when I click on xxe.bat (rather than xxe.exe) the program opens. My new file association now points to the batch file rather than to the executable.

Notice that, beside the .zip you have downloaded, we have a xxe-perso-3_7_1-setup.exe which is bundled with its own, *private*, Java runtime "1.6.0_04".
