Note that blue/gray background is displayed only in the styled view, and
not in the tree view.

I believe you and I'll try again (harder) to reproduce the problem.

Which version of Java do you use? (This is listed in the "About XMLMind
XML Editor" dialog box.)

PS: On our MacBook, when the screen is not opened with a large angle,
you simply cannot see very light colors such as the blue/gray background
of non-editable elements. Seems stupid to mention this... but who knows?
