I cannot reproduce the problem (Windows XP SP2, anti-virus turned off,
xxe-perso-3_6_1-setup.exe, add-on "RenderX XEP XSL-FO processor plug-in"
v4.0.0).
May be this problem (a file renaming problem that in theory cannot
happen!) is caused by your anti-virus or by something specific to your
working environment (shared "C:\Programme\" folder?).
I would recommend:
[1] To uninstall XXE and to reinstall it using xxe-perso-3_6_1-setup.exe
(which contains a *private* Java^TM 1.6.0_01 runtime).
[2] Turn your anti-virus off. Try to download and install "RenderX XEP
XSL-FO processor plug-in" v4.0.0 using Options|Install Add-ons.
[3] If [2] does not work. Use Options|Preferences, Install Add-ons
section, and check "Install add-ons in the user's preferences
directory". More info in

[4] Try again to download and install "RenderX XEP XSL-FO processor

I assume that you are working on a ``German Windows''.
* You want to have the GUI of XXE localized to German. Download and
install the add-on called "German (Deutsch) translation" using
Options|Install Add-ons. Then simply restart XXE and you'll see the GUI
of XXE localized to German.
* You want to switch back to English. Simply use Options|Preferences,
General section and using the "Locale" combobox, select "Deutsch". Then
simply restart XXE and you'll see the GUI of XXE localized to English.

All add-ons, without exception, may be installed in XXE Personal
Edition. However attempting to *use* certain types of add-ons, such as
an XSL-FO processor add-on, in XXE Personal Edition will simply fail
(totally harmless, easy-to-understand error message).
