I can confirm this. I converted your file with my current version of XFC and
OpenOffice doesn't complain about a format error anymore. However it still
fails to load the document. (Seems like it enters an infinite loop at some
point.) This is likely to be an OpenOffice issue - possibly related to the
document size (1000+ pages) - but I'll try to investigate further when I get
the chance...
