You need to customize the DocBook configuration by hand in order to restore the behavior of older versions of XMLmind XML Editor. We don't consider the new behavior to be a regression in the general case. The DocBook CSS stylesheet called "thumbnails.css" has been removed but we have replaced this specific stylesheet by a generic, more powerful, facility implemented by the "View|Display Images" submenu.
