I’m having 2 problems with the XML editor 5.3 and Java 1.6.0_37-b06.
Sometimes, the application closes suddenly and creates a file like the
one I attach you.
I'm sorry but the hs_err_pid4564.log file you sent us contains low level
information which cannot help us solve this issue:
---
# EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x6d892114, pid=4564,
tid=1556

You need to explain us how to reproduce this problem here at XMLmind. In
other words, you need to remember exactly what you did before such Java
crashes.
The other error I get is when I open a doc. Instead of viewing images I
get this message:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space.
I actually got this error with other versions of Java and the editor but
never found a solution. I usually work with docbook 5.
[Workaround #1] If your documents often contain a lot of high-resolution
images,
a) please turn on the following feature:
Enable the "View|Display Images" Submenu
For that, please use Options|Preferences, General|Features section. See
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/generalOptions.html#featuresOptions
b) Then restart XMLmind XML Editor.
c) Then use Options|Preferences, View section and check "Display images
as as thumbnails". See
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/viewOptions.html
[Workaround #2] If Workaround #1 does not apply to your documents or
does not solve your problem, then please refer to this FAQ:

XXE freezes when I try to open large XML files. Is there a workaround
for this problem?
