Good morning,

Thank you for your support. Next time Java crashes I'll note the steps before
the crash.

I'm sorry but the hs_err_pid4564.log file you sent us contains low level
information which cannot help us solve this issue:

---
# EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x6d892114, pid=4564,
tid=1556
---

You need to explain us how to reproduce this problem here at XMLmind. In other
words, you need to remember exactly what you did before such Java crashes.

[Workaround #1] If your documents often contain a lot of high-resolution images,

a) please turn on the following feature:

Enable the "View|Display Images" Submenu

For that, please use Options|Preferences, General|Features section. See
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/generalOptions.html#featuresOptions

b) Then restart XMLmind XML Editor.

c) Then use Options|Preferences, View section and check "Display images as as
thumbnails". See
http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/viewOptions.html

[Workaround #2] If Workaround #1 does not apply to your documents or does not
solve your problem, then please refer to this FAQ:

XXE freezes when I try to open large XML files. Is there a workaround for this
problem?
