We're using XXE in conjunction with an svn server to store old versions,
and of course the WebDAV plugin. I would love to use the Compare tool
in this environment. But I can't figure out how to open old svn
versions in XXE.
In a web browser, I can get to older versions of documents using a URL like
https://svn.ourweb.edu/rootnode/?r=400/
where '400' is the desired version number.
But when I input such a URL in XXE's Open File dialog, and click on the
"Browse remote files" button, it doesn't show me the requested
version--it only shows me the most recent version.
Is there a way to open old versions from an svn repository, so I can
compare them with the current version?
If it works in a web browser, then there are great chances that we could
easily make it work in XMLmind XML Editor.
However, I have no idea why XXE opens the most recent version (A
syntactic problem like the trailing slash '/' after '/?r=400' ???).
In order to be able to help you, may be you could give me
(mailto:[email protected]) a temporary access to
https://svn.ourweb.edu/. I'm afraid that setting up an svn server here,
at XMLmind, configured like yours, would take us forever.
