Ah, that's a good point. Jeremy took care of the issues with running
Xorg on OS X during the 1.12 cycle, but that needs to happen for
Windows too. I'm hopeful that at least some of the work he did will
make that job easier.

I've already got a patchset for Cygwin. As for MinGW, while many of the buildsystem issues are the same, there's the question of porting the code (loader and posix_tty jump to mind).
