All right. Homework for Gautam and Daniel: - does the bug manifest itself more/less at different zoom levels, or for different window sizes? (especially: if you zoom in enough so that the first page covers the entire screen, vs. if part of the gray border around the page is visible)
- what distribution do you use? what version of libgnomecanvas? - does the version of libgnomecanvas packaged by your distribution include the infamous "no-tearing" patch? Does recompiling and installing a standard libgnomecanvas version from ftp.gnome.org solve the problem? (e.g., version 2.20.1.1 or older?) Sporadic display refresh bugs in xournal are 99.9% likely to be caused by libgnomecanvas.
